Above: Marilyn Monroe did an entire series of photos in the 1950s, taken by Milton Greene, which came to be known as 'The Black Sitting.' For this sitting, Monroe posed either in a 'nightie' with sheer, thigh-high hose, (as seen here), or in fishnet hose and a top hat -- and nothing else (though the hat was placed in strategic locations). |
